CURL | Half Dozen Voyageurs To Represent Canada

Fresh off their OUA and U SPORTS Championship titles, the Voyageurs Women’s Curling team has been tapped by Curling Canada to wear the red and white of Team Canada for a competition in China.

Krysta Burns, Megan Smith, Sara Guy and Laura Masters will be competing at the China Qinghai International bonspiel as part of the eight team field that includes the Chinese national team and prominent curling teams from around the world.

The competition in Xining City begins on Dec. 15th and will consist of a full round robin followed by the semi-finals and the final on Dec. 21st.  Joining the women’s team in Xining in the men’s draw will be the Tanner Horgan rink out of Sudbury, two members of which, Tanner Horgan and Maxime Blais, will be competing for the Voyageurs when the OUA season begins in early 2018.
