Haroun Mohamed, Men's Basketball

Laurentian Athletics is proud to announce that Voyageurs basketball guard, Haroun Mohamed, (Toronto, ON) has been named the Perkins Male Athlete of the Week.

Mohamed, a 4^th year Kinesiology student, made the most of his opportunity against the Windsor Lancers and Western Mustangs this past weekend as he got his first two starts as a Voyageur. Mohamed chipped in with 13 points while dishing out seven assists and grabbing four steals, helping lift the Voyageurs over the Lancers in an 84-63 win. On Saturday, against the Mustangs, Mohamed had 16 points, eight rebound and three assists in the 88-78 defeat.

Mohamed and the Voyageurs will be back in action in the New Year on January 4^th when they host the Queen’s Gaels and January 5^th hosting the York Lions.
