Kadre Gray, Men's Basketball
Laurentian Athletics is proud to announce that Voyageurs basketball guard, Kadre Gray, (Toronto, ON) has been named the Perkins Male Athlete of the Week.
Gray, a 3rd year Health Promotion student, had a great couple of games this past week for the Voyageurs. On Friday, Gray earned a double-double with 29 points and 11 rebounds helping lift the Voyageurs past the Algoma Thunderbirds in overtime, winning 86-85. On Sunday Gray scored 33 points, with 9 assists, and 7 rebounds in a tough 83-76 loss against the Guelph Gryphons.
Gray and his teammates will be back in action this weekend when they visit the Laurier Golden Hawks on Friday and the Waterloo Warriors on Saturday.
