Eric Gareau, Men's Cross Country

Laurentian Athletics is proud to announce that Voyageurs runner, Eric Gareau (London, ON) has been named Perkins Male Athlete of the Week.

Gareau, a 2^nd year Forensic Science student, won the Waterloo/Don Mills Invitational on Saturday, pacing the Voyageurs to a first place team finish as well.  Gareau ran the 8.2km course in 26:13, 16 seconds ahead of his closest competitor.

Gareau and his teammates will be back in action again on Friday as they head to Hamilton, ON, for the Marauder Invitational.
