Ryan Lacasse, Men's Baseball

Laurentian Athletics is proud to announce that Voyageurs baseball player, Ryan Lacasse (Sudbury, ON), has been named the BioSteel Male Athlete of the Week.

Lacasse, a 2^nd year Éducation physique student, had a fantastic opening weekend for the Voyageurs.  In the first three games against TMU and Queen’s, Lacasse hit for a combined .444 average with four RBI’s, one run scored, and a stolen base.

Lacasse then took the mound in their final game of the weekend and proceeded to toss a 95-pitch complete game victory over Queen’s, racking up a pair of strikeouts along the way.

Lacasse his teammates will be back on the field this weekend when they host Western and Laurier on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
