Maddie Norman, Nordic Skiing

Laurentian Athletics is proud to announce that Nordic skier Maddie Norman (Ottawa, Ontario) has been named the BioSteel Female Athlete of the Week.  

Norman, a second-year Earth Sciences student led her team to a third-place overall finish at the OUA Championships in Lakehead this past weekend. In the team relay race on Saturday, Norman aided her team to a fourth-place finish in 37:03.90. Later that day, in the 7.5-kilometre interval classic, Normal placed 12^th out of 50 women, in 25:12.70. On Sunday, she finished the 15-kilometre mass start in 11^th place, with a time of 46:33.90. On top of that, Norman was named an OUA All-Star.
