Mackenzie Robinson, Women's Basketball

Laurentian Athletics is proud to announce that Voyageurs basketball guard, Mackenzie Robinson, (Collingwood, ON) has been named the Perkins Female Athlete of the Week.

Robinson, a 4^th year Sport and Physical Education student, had a solid weekend for the Voyageurs.  In Friday night's loss to the Algoma Thunderbirds, Robinson chipped in with seven points and seven rebounds.  She followed that up with an impressive game on Sunday against the Guelph Gryphons, leading the charge with 19 points and 5 rebounds in a 67-59 win over the Gryphons, adding two assists, two steals and two blocks to her stat line.

Robinson and the Voyageurs will be back in action on Friday when they visit the Laurier Golden Hawks on and the Waterloo Warriors on Saturday.
