Laurentian Athletics is proud to announce that Voyageurs soccer goalkeeper, Caitlin McNamara (Ottawa, Ontario) has been named Perkins Female Athlete of the Week.
McNamara, a 4th year Psychology student, came up huge this weekend with a 1-1 draw against the #8 ranked Queen’s Gaels on Saturday and a shut-out leading the Vees to a 3-0 win against the RMC Paladins on Sunday, pushing the Voyageurs back into the playoff picture.
McNamara and her teammates will be back in action again on Saturday against the Ryerson Rams and Sunday against U of T’s Varsity Blues, both games in Toronto, as they look to secure a playoff spot.
