The Voyageurs had a difficult match up this evening when they faced off against the top ranked team in the country, the Carleton Ravens in the Raven's Nest. Trailing at half time by 18 points, it seemed as if the the Voyageurs needed to muster up some energy to get back into the game. Though this energy was found in the fourth quarter where they outscored their opponents 28-13, it came slightly too late as Laurentian ultimately fell for the first time in 2018 with a final score of 71-67.

A strong point in the Voyageurs' game  was once again rebounding, as it consistently has been, out-boarding their opponent 34-28. Eleven of these rebounds came from the offensive boards, which was an essential part to Laurentian staying in the game,

Top performer for the Voyageurs was senior forward Nelson Yengue who earned another double-double from his contribution of 16 points and 10 rebounds. Another notable effort was delivered from senior guard David Aromolaran who had 16 points of his own in the match.

Top scorers for Carleton were Yasiin Joseph and Mitch Jackson who each chipped in 14 points.

The Voyageurs will aim to take this fourth quarter energy into tomorrow night's match up where they'll face off with the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees at Montpetit Hall at 8pm.
