MBB | Voyageurs Outlast Varsity Blues

In a game that went down to the wire, it was the Voyageurs men's basketball team outlasting the Toronto Varsity Blues 95-94 on Saturday in Toronto.

By the numbers, the Voyageurs should have been well ahead of the Varsity Blues, shooting an unbelievable 63.3% from the field compared to the host's 38%.  However, Toronto was sent to the free throw line 18 more times than the Voyageurs, ultimately outscoring them by 22 from the charity stripe to keep themselves in the game.

Kadre Gray led a balanced Voyageurs attack with 28 points, on 11-16 shooting, while four of his teammates scored in double digits.

The Voyageurs now find themselves in 5th place in the OUA East and have a pair of crucial games next weekend at York and Queen's as they push for a home playoff game.
