MBB | Voyageurs Rally Late to Climb to 2–3 After Road Win at Laurier

After facing a 19-point deficit heading into halftime, the Laurentian Voyageurs men's basketball team rallied to stun the Laurier Golden Hawks 70-63, improving to 2-3 on the season.

Laurier controlled the first half, leading 20-14 after one and 42-23 at the break behind steady scoring from their starting lineup and defence. The Voyageurs struggled with turnovers and cold shooting, while Laurier punished them in transition. However, the halftime break proved to be critical for the Vees, coming out with newfound hope.

The Vees outscored Laurier 19-10 in the third and 28-11 in the fourth, locking in defensively and getting contributions from across the lineup. To Randriasalama sparked the comeback with key buckets, while Ismael Konate and Toby Ezenwa steadied the interior. Momentum really swung when Laurentian's ball pressure started causing turnovers, fueling a 47-21 run over the final 20 minutes.

Favour Ugbah and Keenan Morain added timely plays, and the Voyageurs' bench delivered a huge lift with energy on the glass and at the free-throw line. Laurier, on the other hand, couldn't recover once the pressure ramped up. Their offence went ice-cold in the fourth, managing just 11 points as Laurentian imposed their will.

Laurentian improves to 2-3, as they look to continue their winning streak on the road, already in mid-season form.
