On Saturday night, the Voyageurs were unable to make it two wins in a row as they were shutout by the Carleton Ravens 6-0.

The Ravens got started early as Benji Curtis found the back of the net at 2:31 of the first period.

The Ravens doubled their lead eight minutes later, when Mattew Sozanski solved Joel Vienneau, giving Carleton a 2-0 lead.

Carleton added one more before the period ended, as Ryan Van Stralen scored at 17:23, sending both teams off the ice for the first intermission with the Ravens leading 3-0. The Vees were outshot 13-9 in the first period.

Despite a few powerplay opportunities, the Voyageurs were unable to get on the board in the second period. The Ravens would increase their lead to four, however, courtesy of Jared Steege at 13:13 of the second.

The Voyageurs were overrun in the final period, being outshot 16-6 and allowing two more Carleton goals for a grand total of 6-0. Despite the loss, the Voyageurs are heading home with a 1-1 record from this weekend.

The Voyageurs, currently sitting in 9th place in the conference, will look to get back in the win colum next weekend as they host McGill and Concordia.
