MSOC | Voyageurs Fall 4-1 to Ravens

In a game against a tough Carleton Ravens squad, the Voyageurs let a point slip away. The teams were evenly matched in the first half, with each keeper having a fantastic save to keep the score even.

Following the scoreless half, the Voyageurs got on the board first with a strike from Matthew Wilkes. Shortly after, a Voyageur was sent off with a red card, forcing LU to play the rest of the way with 10 men. From there on out, the match had a higher intensity with emotions running high on both sides.

Carleton quickly answered with an equalizer off a penalty kick and never looked back. Since they were now a man down, the Voyageurs had difficulty keeping the ball outside their zone. This led to the Ravens adding three more goals on the way to their victory.

The loss drops the Vee's to 5-6-2, still good for 5th place in the OUA's East division. Their next game is tomorrow, October 16th, in a home matchup with the second place Toronto Varsity Blues (10-2-2).
