MSOC | Voyageurs Find Win Column in Big Way

The Laurentian Voyageurs men's soccer team won their first game of the season on Saturday afternoon, with a 4-0 victory over RMC.

 

It took 27 minutes for the Voyageurs to get on the board when Evan Stronach broke to the scoreless tie to give the Vees the lead.
The Vees would hold the one goal lead for most of the match until Stronach scored his second of the game in the 76th minute.
Matthew Wilkes would add to the Vees lead with 2 goals in the final 10 minutes to seal the deal against RMC and give the Voyageurs their first win of the season.
Connor Vande Weghe earned the shutout in net for Laurentian. The Voyageurs are in action again tomorrow afternoon as they travel to Queen's for a 2:15pm match.
