MSOC | Rams Quick Start Too Much for Voyageurs
Following a 1-0 victory over Nipissing University on Saturday, the Laurentian Voyageurs Men’s Soccer team travelled to Downsview Park to take on the Ryerson Rams.
The Rams were unstoppable in the first half with Jamie Baker scoring twice to put Ryerson up 2-0. The Voyageurs remained hopeful going into the second half, but were unable to answer Ryerson’s powerful team. Goalie Connor Vande Weghe faced a total of 10 shots on goal, and was able to save 8 of them, stopping the Rams from furthering their lead.

Laurentian University's Department of Athletics is home to 23 varsity sports teams. The Voyageurs decorated history of pride and tradition includes 62 provincial championships as well as 10 national championships in 54 years of competition.
