Looking to bounce back from a loss to the Ryerson Rams the day before, the Voyageurs Men's Soccer team took on the University of Toronto on Sunday afternoon.  Despite a spirited affair, the Voyageurs would fall to the Varsity Blues 3-0.

The Varsity Blues controlled much of the play from the opening whistle but the stellar goalkeeping of Connor Vande Weghe gave the Voyageurs a fighting chance.  The lone blemish in a first half that saw Vande Weghe turn away 9 shots was a volley from in tight by Nirun Sivananthan in the 37th minute as the Varsity Blues took a 1-0 lead into halftime.

The second half saw the Voyageurs step up their offensive push, directing three shots on target, to no avail.  It was the Varsity Blues who made their three shots on target count, converting two of them to push their lead to 3-0.

The squad will look to regroup over the coming days before heading to Kingston to take on the Queen's Gaels and RMC Paladins on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
