MXC | Sagriff 10th, Men 7th at OUA Championships

The Voyageurs headed to London on Saturday to race in the OUA Cross Country Championships.  After placing 8th as a team a year ago, the squad was looking to match or even better their performance and led by Paul Sagriff, the squad ensured that the later would be the outcome.

The team was led by second year runner, Sagriff, who finished in a pack of seven runners and had to settle for 10th in the 10km race in a time of 32:16, just four seconds back from 5th and 19 seconds behind the winners.  Liam Passi (29th), Caleb Beland (39th), Eric Gareau (40th) and Dylan McKevitt (51st) rounded out the scoring.  For his efforts, Sagriff was also named a 2nd team OUA All-Star.

The squad will now prepare for their first U SPORTS Championships on Nov. 10th at Queen's university in Kingston, ON.
