WBB | Voyageurs Fall Flat vs Ravens
The Voyageurs' women's basketball team's unlucky streak continued tonight as they were defeated 72-37 by the Carleton Ravens. The Ravens relentless offense and tight defense spelled defeat for the Vees in their 6th game of the season.
Laurentian put forth a determined effort but were no match for the accuracy and speed of Carleton. All four quarters saw the Vees struggling to keep up with the Ravens, as Laurentian continuously struggled to score. L'Ashante Henry lead the scoring for the Vees in the first half with a meagre 4 points, followed by Andrea Zulich and Claire Fawcett with 3 each. The second half saw Emily Tinnes stepping up to lead the scoring with 6 points, but this still wasn't enough to keep up with the Ravens.
