WBB | Marauders Pick Off Vees

WBB | Marauders Pick Off Vees

After a competitive first half the Voyageurs lost steam in Steel City, falling to the Marauders in their fourth league game of the season. Laurentian battled through early foul trouble in the first quarter, trailing by 12 at half after a series of shots just wouldn't drop.

A combination of slow rotational defence leading to uncontested three point shots and turnovers ultimately caused the Vee's demise in the second half of the ball game leading to a final score of 80-52 in favour of McMaster.

Top performer for the Voyageurs was guard Mackenzie Robinson with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Veteran player Emily Tinnes was another notable contributor with 10 points. McMaster's Hilary Hanaka had 34 points for the Marauders in the game.

The team will look to bounce back tomorrow evening when they take on Brock University (3-4) on the Badger's home court.
