Friday the 5th of November the Women voyageurs played Ontario tech.
The ridgebacks got off to a hot start scoring 18 points to Voyageurs 7 in the first quarter. Most of the Voyageurs came from inside the paint with Millie Lafond scoring 9 points at halftime.
However, the Voyageurs came out firing in the second half with scoring six unanswered and started controlling the glass outrebounding the Ridgebacks 41-36.
The Voyageurs dominated the Ridgebacks in the fourth, almost completing the scoring 19 points to the Ridgeback six. Unfortunately, it was too little too late and the Ridgebacks won 60-56.
The team's record is 0-1 and the Voyageur's next game is against the Ridgebacks again on Sunday at Home.
