Caillou Lacroix, Men's Basketball
Laurentian Athletics is proud to announce that Voyageurs forward, Caillou Lacroix (Toronto, ON), has been named the BioSteel Male Athlete of the Week.
Lacroix, a 3rd year Sport and Phys Ed student, did his best to help try and manufacture upsets over the top two teams in the country this weekend. In Friday’s loss to Ottawa, Lacroix had 16 points on 7/10 shooting while dishing out a pair of assists.
On Saturday, Lacroix had a team-high 17 points on 6/13 shooting while grabbing four rebounds and handing out another two assists as the Voyageurs comeback against the nation’s top team fell just short.
Lacroix and his teammates hit the court again this weekend when they head to Western on Friday and Windsor on Saturday at 8pm both nights.
