MHKY | Voyageurs Down Lakers to Even Pre-Season Record
Your Laurentian Voyageurs men's hockey team started their season with an exhibition game today, September 20th, against their neighbours to the east, the Nipissing Lakers.
An always exiting matchup for Voyageur hockey fans as the Lakers and Vees always put on a show.
Tyler Meyer, Ben Morris and Derek Varrin would be the three goal scorers for the Vees this afternoon with Julian Makary, David Elford and Russell Nowry getting the assists.
Oliver Oulette and Colby Tower would score the two goals for the Lakers but as time expired the Lakers would be down by one goal.
The Vees will face the Lakers again September 28th at Countryside Arena.
