MHKY | Laurentian's Losing Streak Continues

MHKY | Laurentian's Losing Streak Continues
The Laurentian Voyageurs men's hockey team stayed overnight in Quebec last night as they had a full weekend of the UQTR Patriotes. After losing last night to UQTR with a score of 4-2 the Voyageurs would take another stab at the Patriotes but would once again remain unsuccessful.

The Patriotes would start up their offence quickly once again scoring two goals in the first four minutes of the game on Mackenzie Savard, Vincent Milot-Oulette would get his first goal in his OUA career and Leblanc would score his first of three.

The Voyageurs would not remain complacent though as David Elford would score his first OUA goal in his current two year stint at Laurentian and cutting the Patriotes lead in half.

The Voyageurs would add one last goal to the away scoring column as Gavin Apperson would take advantage of a scoring opportunity just nine seconds into the penalty kill. McCaw would pick up the only assist on the goal.

The Voyageurs were trumped by the Patriotes as they added another three goals onto Savard and one goal onto Lachance giving them a total of six through three frames and as well, the win.

The Voyageurs will return back to Sudbury for a week of preparation for another weekend in Quebec against Concordia and McGill.
