WGLF | Local, Lacko, to Join Voyageurs
The Laurentian Voyageurs women’s golf team is proud to announce that local athlete, Gracen Lacko, will be hitting the links decked out in blue and gold in September.
A recent graduate of Lo-Ellen Park Secondary School, Lacko is a 3-time Sudbury champion on the high school golf scene, losing out by a single stroke this year in her quest to go 4-for-4. Lacko also has a NOSSA championship and two silver medals to her credit.
Away from the high school ranks, Lacko has competed on the BAGS Junior Tour for the last two seasons, finishing third in 2015 and fourth on tour last season. Though this season is still young, Lacko finished T-2 in the Tour’s first girl’s event Timberwolf GC on June 11th.
Lacko will hit the links as a Voyageur for the first time in September when the varsity season kicks off.
