Cedric Mbiaba, Men's Basketball

Laurentian Athletics is proud to announce that Voyageurs forward Cedric Mbiaba (Ottawa, Ontario) has been named the BioSteel Male Athlete of the Week.

Mbiaba, a fourth-year Kinesiology student helped the Voyageurs in two hard fought games over the weekend, ending the weekend with a split. In Friday night’s win against Windsor, Mbiaba scored 14 points and added 11 defensive and 6 offensive rebounds, for a total of 17 rebounds throughout the game. In Saturday’s matchup against Western, he finished the game with 6 points, 7 rebounds and an assist.

Mbiaba and his teammates will return to the court on Friday night, as they host the York Lions at 8pm, followed by the McMaster Marauders at 8pm Saturday night.
