Laurentian Athletics is proud to announce that Voyageurs guard, Kamil Dia Hantchi (Ottawa, ON), has been named the BioSteel Male Athlete of the Week.

 

Dia Hantchi, a 3rd year Sociology student, paced the Voyageurs in a hard-fought loss at Lakehead on Friday.  Dia Hantchi tallied a game-high 22 points, shooting 62% from the floor, including going 5-7 from deep, while adding seven rebounds, four assists, and a pair of steals.

 

Dia Hantchi and his teammates will now head to Ottawa to battle the Gee-Gees on Friday and the Carleton Ravens on Saturday.  Tipoff is scheduled for 8pm both nights.
