Claudia Pellerin, Women's Basketball

Laurentian Athletics is proud to announce that Voyageurs guard, Claudia Pellerin (Sudbury, ON), has been named the BioSteel Female Athlete of the Week.

Pellerin, a 2^nd year Psychology student, paced the Voyageurs in a pair of defeats to two top-10 teams this past weekend.  Pellerin had 11 points while pulling down four rebounds and added an assist and a steal to her stat line in a 71-56 loss at #10 Ottawa.  The next night, Pellerin had a game-high 16 points, along with three rebounds, in a loss to #2 Carleton.

Pellerin and her teammates will now return home to host Windsor on Friday 6pm before welcoming Western to the Sudbury Arena on Saturday at 1pm.
