Claudia Pellerin, Women's Basketball

Laurentian Athletics is proud to announce that Voyageurs guard Claudia Pellerin (Sudbury, Ontario) has been named the BioSteel Female Athlete of the Week.

Pellerin, a second-year Psychology student, helped the women’s basketball team end the weekend with a split. In Friday night’s nail-biter win against the York Lions, Pellerin scored a game-high 22 points, adding 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 6 steals to the box score. On Saturday night against the Marauders, she finished with 20 points, 6 rebounds and an assist and 3 more steals.

Pellerin alongside her teammates will return to the court Friday night, as they take on the University of Toronto Varsity Blues, followed by the TMU Bold on Saturday night. Both games will take place on the road.
