This weekend, the Laurentian indoor track team competed in the Hal Brown Last Chance meet at the University of Toronto. They returned with one medal and three OUA-qualifying standards in what was the final meet of their regular season.

Their medalist was first-year runner, Eric Gareau, whose photo-finish in the 1000m earned a bronze medal. Gareau's time of 2:30.93 was only 2/1000 out of the silver medal position.

The meet included large fields from 10 universities, including Waterloo, Queens, Laval, McMaster, Toronto, York, Windsor, Western, Laurier and Ryerson. A number of track clubs were also involved.
