"This was a great opportunity for our team, particularly our rookies, to get in a competition against teams from across the nation today" noted Vees Head Coach, Darren Jermyn. "We had a few athletes set new personal best times on this course today, which is great, but we still have some work to do on our team score by closing the time gap between our top five athletes."

The Vees will return to action next weekend, racing over six kilometres at the Don Mills Open at the University of Waterloo.
