WCURL - OUA Championships: Day #1

The Voyageurs women's curling team commenced their journey in the OUA Championships on Friday. They started off with two tough losses but are hoping to bounce back on Saturday.

In their first match, the women faced TMU, which resulted in a loss. With TMU starting with the hammer, the advantage was on their side, and they quickly put up two points in the second end. Laurentian put up their only point in the fourth end, resulting in a 7-1 loss to start the tournament.

In their second match, the women faced Waterloo, which resulted in their second loss of the day. The Voyageurs were able to put up two points in the second end, followed by three points in the sixth end. Unfortunately, Waterloo was too consistent and took the match 9-5.

The women are back in action on Saturday, with their first match at 12:30 pm, followed by their second at 7:30 pm.
