WCURL - Women's curling team head to New-Brunswick for Nationals
The women's curling team is heading to Fredericton, New Brunswick, to compete at the USPORTS Championships this week. The team comprised of Julia Deklein, Mya Smith, Bella Croisier, Piper Croisier, Britney Malette, and Val Ouimet won gold at the OUA Championships in early February. Last year, the women's curling team hit the podium at Nationals, bringing home a bronze medal. The women will compete in seven games before the playoff matches on Saturday. The schedule is as follows:
Tuesday: 3:30pm vs. Victoria
Wednesday: 7:30am vs. Alberta / 3:30pm vs. McMaster
Thursday: 7:30am vs. Dalhousie / 3:30pm vs. New Brunswick
Friday: 11:30am vs. Mount Allison / 7:30pm vs. Waterloo
