MNORDIC | Voyageurs Take On OUA Championships in the Soo

The Laurentian Voyageurs men's nordic ski team faced off against Ontario's best this past weekend in Sault Ste. Marie at the OUA Championships. With a full roster competing across multiple events, the team aimed to put forth strong performances in the season's most significant competition.
The action kicked off on Friday with the men's 15 km freestyle race. Cormac Adams led the team with a solid 25th-place finish, followed by Lucas Jones in 29th. Cameron Boland (32nd), Jamie Brain (36th), Owen Claridge (40th), Finley O'Brien (53rd), and Jack Anderson (57th) rounded out the team's efforts in a highly competitive field.
Saturday featured the 12 km classic event, where Lucas Jones once again led the team, securing a 30th-place finish. Cameron Boland followed closely in 32nd, with Cormac Adams placing 39th. Jamie Brain (42nd), Finley O'Brien (51st), Owen Claridge (53rd), and Jack Anderson (54th) displayed strong endurance as they fought through tough conditions.
The weekend concluded with the team relay races on Sunday. The men's A relay team, composed of Cameron Boland, Lucas Jones, and Cormac Adams, delivered an impressive 9th-place finish, while the B team of Owen Claridge, Finley O'Brien, and Jamie Brain secured 14th place.
Overall, the men's squad demonstrated determination and resilience, showing steady improvement and teamwork throughout the championship.
