MCURL - OUA Championships: Day #2

The Voyageurs men's curling team continued their journey at the OUA Championships on Saturday. The men were able to secure another win in their second match of the day.

In their first match of the day, the men faced Brock University, which resulted in a tough loss for the Voyageurs. Laurentian was able to put up two points in the second end and 1 point in the sixth end, resulting in a 9-3 loss.

In their second match, the men faced Ontario Tech, which resulted in their second win of the tournament. With the hammer on their side, Laurentian was able to secure two points in the first end, followed by one point in the second end, and two more points in the third end. The Voyageurs put up one point in the fifth and seventh end, concluding the game with a 7-3 win.

After pool play, the men ended up in seventh place, qualifying for the quarterfinals on Sunday morning at 9 am. The Voyageurs will face Wilfrid Laurier.
