"This was the final opportunity for our athletes to qualify or improve their provincial rankings for the OUA Championships next weekend, and it was great to see several members of the team push themselves to the limit this weekend," said Head Coach Darren Jermyn. "We have seven athletes that have earned a spot to compete against the best in the OUA next weekend. The fact that we have athletes entered in each of the six track events along with the long jump and triple jump shows some good progress for the program," he said.

The Voyageurs will be represented by Sarah Booth (600m, 1000m), Kristen Mrozewski (600m, 1000m), Shelley Hladin (long jump, triple jump), Tristan Routhier (60m, 300m), Josh Kim (60m), Brandon Radey (300m, 600m) and Keon Wallingford (1500m, 3000m) at the OUA Championships hosted by the University of Windsor next weekend.
