The men's and women's indoor track and field team is sending seven athletes to compete at the OUA Championships this weekend. The championship is hosted by the University of Windsor and can be streamed on OUA TV.

The women will be represented by Sarah Booth (600m, 1000m), Kristen Mrozewski (600m, 1000m), and Shelley Hladin (long jump, triple jump). The top-ranked female is Kristen Mrozewski, who is ranked 13th in the women's 1000m event, in which she finished in 10th place last year. Shelley Hladin is ranked 15th in the long jump and 16th in the triple jump. She also broke the school record earlier this season in the long jump event.

The men will be represented by Tristan Routhier (60m, 300m), Josh Kim (60m), Brandon Radey (300m, 600m), and Keon Wallingford (1500m, 3000m). The top-ranked male is Keon Wallingford, ranked 16th in the 3000m event. He placed 10th in this event back in 2020.

"These are the deepest fields we have likely ever seen at the OUA Championships across all events. Knowing that the OUA produced twenty athletes that competed at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021 demonstrates the depth of talent that our athletes are competing against this weekend. Our student-athletes have peaked for this weekend and are definitely looking for their best performances of the season," said head coach Darren Jermyn.
