WREST | Voyageurs Compete at OUA Championships
The Voyageurs were well represented today at the OUA Championship, with four members of the Wrestling Team making the trip to Hamilton.
Fighting in the 120kg weight class, Adam Clement finished second in his pool in the preliminary round buying him a spot in the next round. After a loss in his well fought match, it was the end of the road for the Voyageurs at the OUA Championship. The other three representatives from LU just missed out on advancing out of the preliminary round, each finishing third in their respective pools. Ryan Karn outranked two other wrestlers in his 82kg division pool. Abraham King of the 76kg pool bested one other athlete. For Nathan Stojkows, it was a last place finish in pool A of the 57kg weight class.
