WBB | Lafontaine Named Interim Head Coach

Laurentian Athletics would like to announce that former Voyageur, Kauri Lafontaine, has been named Interim Head Coach of the women's basketball team.

Lafontaine has a breadth of experience in post-secondary basketball, playing 4 years in the CIS, finishing her career at Laurentian in 2010.  She has spent the last 4 seasons serving as an assistant coach at Durham College, helping guide the Lords to 4 consecutive playoff appearances and one berth into the OCAA Championship Tournament in 2016-17.

Lafontaine will hit the ground running, while Jason Hurley is on leave, as the OUA season begins Friday night when the Voyageurs host Waterloo at 6pm, followed by the men at 8pm.
