MHKY | Voyageurs Continually Stung by Concordia

On Saturday night, the Voyageurs men's hockey team was completely run over by the Concordia Stingers 9-1.

It took Concordia eight minutes to get on the board, when Anthony De Luca scored on the power play, his first of seven points on the night, to give the Stingers a 1-0 lead.
Four minutes later, De Luca scored again on the power play to increase the lead to two.
Concordia would add a third goal before the period ended when Scott Oke beat Charlie Millen on the blocker side.
The second period was more of the same, this time Concordia scoring four times and chasing Charlie Millen from the net. Concordia got goals from Sanche, De Luca, and two from Beauregard in the second frame.
The Stingers scored again twice in the third period, one of which again was De Luca's fourth, before the Vees finally got on the board. Nick Esposto scored the only goal for the Voyageurs and the last goal of the game at 13:21, giving the game a final score of 9-1.
The Vees are back in action next weekend when they host York and Brock.
