WHKY | Voyageurs Close Out Season with Loss to Lions
The Laurentian Women's Hockey team played their last and final game of the 2018-2019 season.

The women would travel down to Toronto to finish out their season.

A close game for both teams as in just three periods only three goals were scored.

The Voyageurs would start Danielle Toland for the last game of the season and she would show stellar netminding skills.

Toland would make 28 saves on the 30 shots she faced but unfortunately the 2 goals that were scored would trump Laurentian's 1.

The first period goal would come with just five seconds left in the first period, Tayler Murphy would net the first goal in the game.

Kara Washer would be the woman to net the second goal in the game after a perfect rebound opportunity and pass from her line mate Jenna Gray.

Laurentian would not let Lauren Dubie win this game unscathed as Myla McCormick would score her second goal and her seventh point in twenty-two game. Brynn O'Dwyer and Karissa Hoskin would pick up the assists on the final Laurentian goal of the season.

This would make for a 2-1 game in York's favour and therefore giving Laurentian a loss as they return back to their studies for the rest of the year.
