WHKY | Vees Win Tight Game Against Badgers

WHKY | Vees Win Tight Game Against Badgers
The Laurentian Voyageurs women's hockey team travelled down to St. Catherine's to play the Brock Badgers today in a lunch-time matchup.

An early game was no issue for the Vees against the Badgers who were 2-1-2 for a season record thus far.

Karrisa Hoskin would come in clutch for the Vees once again as she would net her second goal of the season and the only goal scored in the matchup on Jensen Murphy. Hoskin's unassisted goal would come early, just 1:26 into the game.

Shanna Dolighan would remain ice cold for the Vees with her back to back shutouts, keeping out all 40 shots from the Badgers.

The Vees will add a win to their current record making them 3-2-1 but will have a tough opponent ahead of them, the Guelph Gryphons.
