The women's soccer team wrapped up their weekend with a visit to the Ottawa Gee-Gees. Looking to upset the OUA's top team, Cassandra Provost sent the message early and often that that was not to be the case.
The OUA's top scorer, Provost, opened the scoring in the 6th minute and proceeded to add three more first half goals before converting once more in the second half for five tallies in the Gee-Gees 7-0 win. Jocelyne Way recorded 15 saves in defeat while Nat Collicutt registered the Voyageurs' lone shot on goal.
The team will look to get back into the win column next weekend when they host Toronto and Toronto Metropolitan on Saturday and Sunday. Kick-off is scheduled for 12pm each day.
