The women's soccer team hit the road for their longest trip of the season when they visited RMC and Carleton this weekend.  After a pair of hard-fought games, the women returned home with a win and a loss.

On Saturday, at RMC, the Voyageurs opened the scoring in the 28th minute as Ella-Rose D'Ambrosio intercepted the Paladins' clearance attempt and looped a shot over the keeper for her first career OUA goal.  The women doubled their lead in the 49th minute when the Paladins' keeper was not able to handle Mary Whiffen's shot.  Laurentian put the game away in the 77th minute when Charlie Frew got on the end of a great through-ball by Caitlyne Kervin and fired it past the keeper.  Noémie Bouchard made four saves for the clean sheet and her first OUA victory.

On Sunday, at Carleton, the Voyageurs played the Ravens tough for the first two-thirds of the game.  However, the hosts broke through in the 65th minute and proceeded to score three goals in a seven minute span to take the game, 3-0.  Hunter Jones made nine saves in the losing effort.

The women will return home on Saturday at 12pm for a rematch against the Ravens in their lone game of the weekend.
