The women's soccer team finished their season with a visit to the Queen's Gaels on Sunday. Coming off of yesterday's win over RMC, the Voyageurs were looking to carry that momentum into this afternoon's contest. Unfortunately, the Gaels struck early and often, en route to a 7-0 win.
Queen's opened the scoring just 30 seconds into the game and kept their foot on the gas all game, firing 31 shots towards Jocelyne Way. In response, the Voyageurs could only must two shots on the Queen's net. Way made 15 saves in the loss.
The game officially brings the 2022 season to a close for the team who went 2-8-2 but only managed a league-low three goals in their 12 games.
