MBB | Voyageurs Top Gee-Gees, Lock in Playoff Spot
A huge win against the 3rd ranked team in the country books a date in the playoffs on Wednesday against the Ryerson Rams. The Voyageurs and the Ottawa Gee-Gee squared off last after the Gee-Gees previously blew out the Voyageurs on Friday. The Voyageurs had new life on Saturday and were up to the fight. The Defensive was incredible all game, resulting in 8 blocks and 13 steals.

The fourth quarter started and the boys were down by 3. The Gee-Gees were going down easy drilling a 3 pointer in their first shot of the Quarter. Gaëtan Chamand hit two clutch 3s to keep the game close with 5 minutes to play and he was always relentless on defense making huge defensive stops resulting in points of Turnovers for the team.

Curtis Gordon was open in the corner and splashed a 3 to put the Voyageurs up 4 with three minutes to play. The Gee-Gees answer right back with a three on their own to make the score 61-60, and that's how the game would end with the Gee-Gees missing their final 4 shots to give the Voyageurs the win.

The team clinched the 5 seed in the east and play Ryerson in Toronto on Wednesday for the first round of the playoffs.
