A difficult and-one layup by Cedric Mbiaba put the Vs 11-5 after the first 5 mins. Insane reverse layup Caillou Lacroix was the spark of the bench the team needed after they went cold after their hot start. After the first quarter, the score was 22-16 Ridgebacks.
A momentum-changing 3 started the second quarter off by Coban Scott followed up by a Nice fast-break bucket by the voyageurs to regain the lead. Unfortunately, 9-0 By the Ridgebacks pursued. Scott with a corner 3 coming out the timeout giving him 10 points in the quarter having the score be 40-49 at the half.
Mbiaba got an and-one that got the crowd involved in the second half and Curtis Gordan splashed a 3 to cut the deficit to 4. Jordan Katchunga went coast to coast finishing off with a silky euro step and Scott drained another 3 making it 63-70 going into the 4th.
Kachunga and one coming from the fast break ignited a comeback followed by a Haroun Mohamed with the steal leading Vs free throws making the score 77-81. Unfortunately, the comeback was not to be and the Ridgeback finished the game strong with the final score being 87-79.
