On Friday night, the men's basketball team welcomed the Ravens to the Ben Avery. The Voyageurs fell short to the nationally ranked team, 80-73.

To start the game, the Ravens wasted no time and scored the first layup within twenty seconds of tip off. Daniel Muila put the Voyageurs on the board two minutes later with a layup, followed by a combination of 5 points from Ismael Konate and Kamil Dia Hantchi. Shortly after, the Ravens scored 6 points, which Laurentian's Evan Munro quickly answered to with 5 points. Munro netted another layup giving the Voyageurs a 2-point lead going into the next quarter.

In the second quarter, Muila made yet again another layup for the Vees, while Shamar Forbes scored a 3-point shot. Although the Voyageurs were in the lead, the Ravens refused to let up, scoring 5 points to tie up the game. With two minutes left in the quarter, Konate, Hantchi and Cedric Mbiaba scored 9 points together, keeping the tie on the scoreboard going into halftime.

Coming back from halftime, a turnover by the Voyageurs resulted in a foul against them, and two made free throws by the Ravens, giving them the lead. Mbiaba showed his offensive aggressiveness with 7 points in two minutes, while Konate scored 5 himself, leading to a timeout call by Carleton. Due to a 3-point shot in the last two seconds of the quarter, the Ravens were ahead 57-56.

In the fourth quarter, Muila scored a jump shot, while Mbiaba scored another layup for the Voyageurs. Two minutes later, Hantchi scored a 3 pointer, ultimately giving Laurentian the lead. Halfway through the quarter, Munro assisted a layup scored by Mbiaba, and made a layup of his own thirty seconds later. In the last minute, with the Voyageurs trailing by four points, Hantchi scored 2 points and a free throw, which ended the scoring for the Voyageurs. The Ravens scored 6 more points, to win the game 80-73.

Ismael Konate led the Voyageurs with 18 points, while Kamil Dia Hantchi and Cedric Mbiaba both added 15 on the board.
