Claudia Pellerin, Women's Basketball

Laurentian Athletics is proud to announce that Voyageurs guard Claudia Pellerin (Sudbury, Ontario) has been named the BioSteel Female Athlete of the Week.

Pellerin, a second-year Psychology student scored several points in the Voyageurs’ last regular season game against the Guelph Gryphons this past weekend. Despite a tough loss, Pellerin was able to score 22 points and contribute to the team’s score with 2 offensive rebounds, 4 defensive rebounds, and 1 steal.

Pellerin and her teammates will hit the court in Ottawa on Wednesday in the first round of the playoffs. Tip off is scheduled for 7pm against the uOttawa Gee-Gees.
