Kamil Dia Hantchi, Men's Basketball

Laurentian Athletics is proud to announce that Voyageurs guard Kamil Dia Hantchi (Ottawa, Ontario) has been named the BioSteel Male Athlete of the Week.

Hantchi, a third-year sociology student helped the Voyageurs in a hard-fought loss on Friday and a win on Sunday. On Friday night against the Badgers, he contributed with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. On Sunday afternoon’s win against Algoma, Hantchi scored 14 points, and finished the game with 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals.

Hantchi and his teammates will return to the court on Saturday night, as they take on the Guelph Gryphons in the Ben Avery.
