Laurentian Athletics is proud to announce that Voyageurs forward, Cedric Mbiaba (Ottawa, ON), has been named the BioSteel Male Athlete of the Week.
Mbiaba, a 4th year Kinesiology student, was a key contributor for the Voyageurs all weekend. In a tough loss to Western on Friday, Mbiaba had a 17 point, 10 rebound double-double while adding four assists and a pair of blocks.
On Saturday, Mbiaba had a game-high 27 points on 10/19 shooting while grabbing a pair of rebounds, handed out two assists and recorded three steals as the Voyageurs fell to Windsor.
Mbiaba and his teammates hit the court again this weekend when they host Toronto Metropolitan on Friday and Toronto on Saturday at 8pm both nights.
